Dear Supporters and Friends,
2010 has been an amazing year where we have seen God do so many amazing things in not only our lives personally but in many lives all over the nation. It is an exciting time to be alive! We believe we are starting to see those revival fires rise up all over the nation which Jean Darnall prophesied about all those years ago (before we were even born!). Have a wee look at this youtube video of Jean in 2009 giving an encouraging message to Scotland.
We thought we should share and update you with some of the things we have been doing over this past year in 2010.
*Led worship in churches, events & conferences all over the country.
*Co-ordinated worship for Light & Life (www.lightlife.org.uk)
*Led worship for CLAN Gathering (New wine Scotland) regional events and summer conference.
*Wrote songs to inspire, encourage and edify the body of Christ.
*Been involved in various recording projects & CD releases including Satellite (a worship album by 9 different writers from churches across Scotland, which featured Allan’s song When God speaks.)
*Encouraging, Networking and getting alongside other worship leaders/writers and working towards building a significant worship community in Scotland.
*Identifying and releasing other talented musicians & artists through one to one tuition, mentoring and recording.
*Actively involved in the worship life of our local church The Lighthouse Troon.
One of the highlights of this year has been to see the impact of Allan’s song When God speaks. The song seems to have connected well with folks and we have had lots of feedback from people who are singing it in their own churches – all over Scotland and including some in England and Ireland too! We now have the chord chart and score sheet available for the song so if you’d like one of these please e-mail info@allanmckinlay.co.uk The song was also selected by a Scottish worship project called Satellite to be recorded on their debut album One Church One Voice. If you haven’t heard it yet or you just want to support worship writers in Scotland, you can buy it on my website www.allanmckinlay.com or from www.satelliteworship.com Or you can download it on itunes!
We have been looking to re-lease Allan’s new album for some time now but there has been a few different hurdles. Time is always a hurdle and finance has been an issue (recording isn’t cheap!) However God has provided us with some recording equipment and even though it may not be the most professional option we are going to attempt to record it ourselves! We have already made some good progress and will be working hard on the album over the next few months. We are really excited about this album and can’t wait to get it released! However we still have some prayer needs on this one. Please pray for the rest of the recording process to go well but also for the finance to get the album mastered and for the art work & duplication costs.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have prayed, given financially, encouraged and supported us – you have been amazing! We have seen significant breakthrough and favour on our lives this year – God has been so faithful! If you don’t already and would like to financially support our ministry then please send us an e-mail to info@allanmckinlay.com
As we look ahead to 2011 we are expecting great things. Here are just some of the things we are looking forward to;
*being involved in some exciting local church initiatives
*continuing our role as worship co-ordinator for Light & Life
*leading worship at churches & conferences all over the UK (check the dairy page on www.allanmckinlay.com)
*Leading worship at CLAN regional events and summer conference.
*The Release of the new album
*A UK Tour to promote the album
*Possibility of a USA Tour
*Continuing to write new fresh worship songs
*Continuing to network and encourage other worship leaders
*To use our new recording equipment to help other musicians, artists and worship leaders.
So it looks like it’s gonna be a busy exciting year ahead. We can’t wait to see what God is going do.
Please do get in touch if you’d like to invite Allan to lead worship at your church, event or conference. Allan will be touring to promote the new album next year so please get in touch if you’d like to add your location to the tour! You don’t always need a church hall or venue to be able to host a worship concert. You could always host a “house concert” if you have a reasonable sized living room. “House concerts” are very popular at the moment and can be a great way of cutting out all the hassle of getting a venue etc and still have an intimate special evening! If that interests you get in touch!
You can keep up to date with what’s happening at www.allanmckinlay.com or become a friend on facebook or twitter!
Thank you again so much for your continued support – we appreciate every one of you! Have a wonderful Christmas & New Year!
Many blessings
Allan & Naomi McKinlay

Coming up on the 7th, 8th and 9th Oct, Allan will be leading worship at Christ Church Conference in the seaside town of Bridlington.
Main speakers include Kenny Borthwick, Jonathan Couper, Andy Hall and Mark Carey. This is going to be an exciting conference as the Holy Spirit has been moving powerfully in Bridlington over the past few years. God has taken a church destined for closure and turned it into a flourishing network of churches which have seen amazing growth. These guys are hungry for Revival! For more info please check out their website at www.christchurchconferences.com

Clan Gathering was awesome and Allan’s song “When God Speaks” seemed to be very well received!
Many people have been asking to buy a copy of the song. If you’d like to buy a recorded version of the song you can buy the Satellite Album which is a worship album written by 9 different writers based in Scottish churches and is produced by David Lyon, Graeme Duffin and Sandy Jones.
It is available on iTunes now or you can buy the full album at www.treehillrecords.com We have also had lots of requests for the Chord Chart so if you would like that please e-mail info@allanmckinlay.com
